We look very closely at where and how we offer support. Our goal is not long-term dependency, but a catalyst that empowers people to take their future into their own hands.
Our journey began in 2020: As a fundraising platform, we backed smaller NGOs, directing donations straight to where they were needed most. Over the years, these beginnings grew into deep, professional partnerships and successful projects of our own. Today, we have completely transformed as an organization and are ready to provide funding reliably ourselves. Through it all, our selection process remains true to who we are: transparent, independent, and free of unnecessary bureaucracy.
Important note on funding: Only projects that meet all six criteria will be shortlisted. If a single criterion is missing, we unfortunately cannot consider the application in the selection process.
The organization or its local partner possesses official registration as well as non-profit status. A transparent website to verify their work is a mandatory prerequisite for funding.
The organization or its partner is deeply rooted in the target region through its own local team. We do not fund purely external staffing models; instead, the focus is on the active participation of the local population to design projects collaboratively and sustainably on the ground.
The project focuses on the long-term empowerment of the target group. Funding serves as an initial spark to generate a sustainable catalytic effect that supports people in their own efforts. Purely material or food assistance lacking this development-oriented core is excluded.
The organization accounts for the use of funds seamlessly through audited financial statements. In addition to semi-annual status and final impact reports, ongoing photo and video documentation is mandatory to demonstrate project progress in a transparent and vivid manner.
We focus on projects with a clear scope: concrete success criteria are defined right from the start. Rather than relying purely on narrative reports, we emphasize tangible, quantitative targets and their evaluation to transparently demonstrate actual success and the positive impact of the funding.
The projects are designed for long-term impact and structured so that target groups can continue them independently once funding ends. Whether through revenue models or structural integration, we require a clear strategy that secures long-term viability without the need for further external support.
We evaluate fairly, transparently, and at eye level. Every applicant receives feedback — regardless of the decision.
A prerequisite for applying is meeting all six funding criteria. Once these are met, the application form can be downloaded, fully completed, and sent back to us along with all required documents. As incomplete applications will not be processed, reviewing the checklist beforehand is mandatory.
Upon successful receipt of the fully completed form, all documents will undergo a detailed review. In the next step, all details and documents will be thoroughly analyzed and carefully discussed internally within the team.
Following the internal team meeting, the final decision regarding the award of funding will be made. If the evaluation is positive, the joint funding process will be initiated; otherwise, the project will be rejected. In either case, feedback on the evaluation results will be provided.
