In low-income countries like Sierra Leone, access to early childhood education is severely limited. Pre-primary education is not yet recognized as a right, and existing programs are often unaffordable and privately run. Additionally, nearly 3 out of 10 children under five suffer from malnutrition, which significantly hinders their cognitive development. Poverty, undernutrition, and lack of responsive stimulation or emotional support cause many children to develop more slowly, if at all, the essential skills they need to thrive. The Little Orange House was established to address these critical gaps, providing children with the nutrition, education, and care they need to overcome these challenges and build a brighter future. With 1760 $ we supported 8 children to attend the little orange houses school for one year.
Through targeted funding, we have significantly supported the successful completion of these projects.
