The Over 35 Team of DFC Kreuzberg Have a break DFc Kreuzberg

DFC Kreuzberg – Over-35 Women's Team in the First Berlin Over-35 League DFC Kreuzberg was founded in 2012 by the non-profit association Fußball und Begegnung e.V. (supporter of the DISCOVER FOOTBALL project). As a self-organized club, we want to facilitate access to football for women, lesbians, trans, and inter* persons (FLTI*)** and create structures that promote diversity, participation, and equality. Our club is open regardless of athletic ability, background, or age and understands football as a place of encounter, empowerment, and mutual learning. The Berlin Football Association will launch an Over-35 League for women* for the first time in the 2025/26 season – a historic step that DFC Kreuzberg significantly initiated and promoted with its own FLINTA* tournament in the summer of 2024. This now provides an official offering for players over 35 years of age* for the first time. DFC Kreuzberg is participating from the start with its own team, enabling women* beyond traditional age limits to continue playing football actively and remain socially visible. This project is far more than just a sporting offer. It promotes health and movement in adulthood, strengthens community and solidarity among players* from different backgrounds, and creates spaces where diversity is lived naturally. Especially in the context of a sport that is still often characterized by discrimination, sexism, and homophobia, we are setting a sign for an open and inclusive football culture. With your support, we want to build up the new Over-35 team sustainably – through the purchase of training and game materials, especially new jerseys, securing organizational structures, and long-term establishment in the Berlin football landscape. This contribution is therefore not just a promotion of sport, but a social investment in equality, health, and participation. Together we want to show: Football is for everyone – for life!
