It is hard to imagine in our daily lives, but some people have no access to water even in 2022. This means that the only available water source is rainwater, which is only available in certain seasons and for a limited period of time. In addition, the storage of rainwater is another challenge, as there are no sterile storage facilities at the relevant locations. In the remote village of Mfranta in the Eastern Region, where 80 people live, we were asked if we could support the community with the construction of a well. There is little to no infrastructure in the village and most people earn their living in the low-paid sector of cocoa cultivation. Some of the children here are unable to attend school due to the parents' lack of funds to cover school expenses. We would like to support the community take the first step to get basic services. We call upon your generosity to make clean water a reality, with your donations, we will support the community in the construction of a well.
